Quantum Information - Home

The Quantum Information Group, founded in late 2003 and headed by Hans Briegel, conducts research in all areas of quantum information (quantum computing and quantum algorithmic complexity, quantum cryptography, quantum communication) as well as in fundamentals of quantum mechanics. The group is also affiliated with the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and is part of many national and international research networks.
