The Network

The MA Program in Peace, Development, Security and International Conflict Transformation in Innsbruck is part of the European Consortium of Graduate Programs in Peace and Development Studies. Within this network students have the opportunity to participate in semesters at any of the affiliated institutes.

Peace Operations Training Institute

The Peace Operations Training Institute in Williamsburg/USA provides globally accessible and affordable distance-learning courses on peace support, humanitarian relief, and security operations to men and women working to promote peace worldwide. Its courses and programs have been repeatedly welcomed by the United Nations Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations (C-34).
Innsbruck is a partner of this institution’s Certificate of Training in United Nations Peace Support Operations (COTIPSO). The successful participation in Module III of our program will be acknowledged as a mandatory class room course of this certificate program.


SAT Program
The SAT program is a comprehensive training aimed at promoting psycho-spiritual development. SAT brings about personal growth and transformation as well as the
 exploration of possible change in society. It has been created by Dr. Claudio Naranjo, pioneer of humanistic and transpersonal psychotherapy and the foremost elaborator of the Enneagram of personality.
The UNESCO Chair for Peace Studies at the University of Innsbruck 
has established a collaboration with SAT Germany - France that enables students and alumni to benefit from special participation fees.
