  • Multi scale interactions during formation and collapse of transport barriers in tokamaks
  • Many particle dynamics in magnetised ultracold plasmas
  • Computational physics and high-performance computing: development of numerical models for complex dynamical systems. Simulations on local and international computing clusters and supercomputers ("VIP Lab", LEO-I/II/III, RZG, DEISA, ...)
  • Statistics and data analysis; verification, validation and visualisation
