The Plant Science Education Center

Plants are the origin of life on earth and they play a fundamental role for most living organisms on our planet.

Our goal is to introduce people of all ages and all levels to this fascinating world of plants.

We offer an interdisciplinary, holistic approach to teaching science and focus on participatory and experimental learning.  Promoting enquiry and current science issues in a way that they are accessible and appropriate for people any age and ability is our main attempt. We aim to enthuse and inspire our visitors so that they learn to appreciate the fascinating beauty and the importance of biodiversity and sustainability.

For several years already we have been focusing on developing a particular enquiry based learning approach. Therefore the Plant Science Education Center was and is involved in several school projects connected to this main pedagogical interest.
