Availability

The INNSBRUCK MIDDLE ENGLISH PROSE CORPUS and the INNSBRUCK LETTER CORPUS are both available on CD-ROM:

1. All the 129 texts of the PROSE CORPUS are available on CD-ROM for associate researchers of ICAMET locally at the English Department of the University of Innsbruck.

2. An old and dated version of the prose corpus is also available as part of the Bergen ICAME CD-ROM, 2nd ed. (launched Sept. 1999), though with the restriction that copyright conventions concerning about half of the prose texts (though not the letter texts) allowed the inclusion of only a sampler of the prose texts.

If you prefer the prose corpus to be mailed to you, you have to put up with the sampler (108 books out of 129), for copyright reasons. For the CD-ROM plus package you will be charged with 7,- Eur (2009).

IMPORTANT NOTE:

All the ICAMET files are allowed for "fair academic use" only (Bern Convention), i.e. the files, whether in full or in part, must not be used for profit-making, but only under the aspect of individual research interests. The ICAMET files are protected as part of the Innsbruck corpora and must not be copied for commercial purposes or for the purpose of compiling another corpus.
