Nomination for the Austrian National Award for Consulting 2011

The collaborator of the Unit of Applied Mechanics, VCE Holding GmbH, was nominated for the Austrian National Award for Consulting for the project SEISMID, which was supported by the ZIT - the Technology Promotion Agency of the City of Vienna. The certificate was awarded on December 1st, 2011 in the Oktogon of the Bank Austria in Vienna.

Best Practice Award

The project "Dynamic compaction of soils by the Rapid Impact Compactor" funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and conducted by a consortium consisting of the Unit of Applied Mechanics (University of Innsbruck), TERRA-Mix Bodenstabilisierungs GmbH and Geotechnik Adam ZT GmbH was honoured with the Best Practice Award in the field of "research facilities and competence centres" on November 16th, 2009 during the BRA.IN Day held in Linz (Austria).
